Delete your account

You can do this in the app, immediately, without writing to anyone.

In the app

1. Open the Saved tab and tap your profile at the top right.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Done.

What happens

• Deleted: your profile, your email address, your display name, your lists, your photos, and your reports.
• Anonymised: your confirmations about places (“changing table: yes”). Other parents rely on “confirmed by 3 parents”, and that number must not quietly become wrong because you left. After anonymisation no confirmation can be traced to you, not even by us.
• Kept: places you suggested. A place is a fact about the world, not about you; the link to you is removed.

If you no longer have the app

Write from your account's email address to datenschutz@hoplala.app. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm it to you. Because that address is the only way we can know it is you, we cannot act on requests from a different one.

Without an account

If you only ever contributed without creating an account, there is nothing we could attribute to you: your identifier carries no name and no email. Deleting the app removes the connection.
